For most all are living life is being run on are own self-will. To change and believe in God and turn it over and trust in God's will for us seems hopeless. Its sad to see some so incapable they end up never to live a life that is truly theirs to live. To die and not know one's self and die a early life before one's time. One seems not to understand the part to give themselves completely to this program of recovery. Half measures avail us "nothing" is what one will get. Full measure is turning are will over to the care of God of our understanding this is not just me but all of us in the room sharing are experience of just how HP is working in our life today Thur the pain, tears, hopelessness, also the happy times, hopefulness, understanding's, living life as never thought possible etc. This self-centered world the alcoholic lives in must be crushed and hands must be held in prayer. These are the steps we "ALL" of us have took as a program of recovery of the past to a new today and a hopeful future in living in God's will for us not are own anymore. And to go out and share this experience with others for how can one receive more in he does not let go what is in his hands, to be able to receive more. To continue to live a spirit-filled life with God of our understanding. To know we are never alone, to feel, see, and know that God is doing for us what we could not do for ourselves. Danny I see some who are blessed to be giving a burst of God's power in their early recovery and stay sober and others who did yet did not do as Bill himself said of His Awakening it must be giving daily strength or we will lose ourselves in to are old ways of thinking, what we are given is reprieve, One Day at a Time in God's wisdom, God understand, God's Love. This is all we have and need. We have a disease of the Mind, Body, and Spirit. Are only hope to recover is in my understanding is a Spirit Filled awakening to Gods mercy and Love and turn are life over to God in Step 3 and continue thur 4 Thur 12 right now a more detailed 12 steps is done as we continue to work this Steps "Principles" in all are affairs. With others. enough said.
bricherAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8873393.post-29710165765976919102008-09-18T13:33:00.000-04:002008-09-18T13:33:00.000-04:00Thanks Jakers. It promised to have begun some where inside of Step-Five so if someone drinks before then - well, then rankly why would I expect anything else?

As long as we are being honestly diligent in proceeding - we just keep going. We don’t’ start over again. Taking Step One is no defense against the First drink - only the awakening is, so we keep going till he has it. Once he does the question becomes moot. There is no more relapsing. I know some people think they have to go back to step one. I don‘ know why they do that - Step One may STILL have been taken properly and alcoholic STILL drinks. There is no ‘step’ that is a defense against the first drink - not even Step One. Only a God through a spiritual awakening is. When someone you're sponsoring relapses,...I concur. When someone you're sponsoring relapses, do you continue with the steps, start over, dive into some DEEP therapy on why they drank, recommend they get a different sponsor, tell them to come back when they're ready, return to step one? Just wondering.jakershttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15890121980303555417noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8873393.post-71778613108365207152008-09-05T10:06:00.000-04:002008-09-05T10:06:00.000-04:00good stuff!good stuff!mollyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08596253451843404461noreply@blogger.com
